When you shop for a gadget, you usually have a range of choices that represent a range of quality at all different price points. The same rings true with marine construction.
There are a range of wood products, floatation, bolts, screws, decking, pilings, bumpers, brackets, and so on. We do not sacrifice on quality for the sake of a few extra points in our margins. Quality marine materials are our standard at all times.
Take a look at a few examples below on how we build a dock compared to the other dock builders.
Lyfe Marine’s commitment to quality means your dock, pier or seawall is built to last.
2×4 handrail, attached with nails.
We will never use a 2×4 on anything, let alone nails. Conditions are rough over the water and the sun is not our friend. We only use 6×6 or 8×8 posts on your handrail.
Built a 4’ pier with three joists. This pier will never hold up over time. We use a double outside band for strength and stability, and joist spacing that is a maximum of 16” OC.
